So yes, a guest post on a respected and authoritative site that adds value and is relevant is useful. Dumping on medium.com less so.

Which is what I said, never buy links from people who sell links and paid guest blogging is included in this as it has links and normally a cost.

No, it doesn't. I've been reading this thread for a while out of interest and although I don't claim to be an SEO expert I know a great deal more than you.
In your place I'd stop arguing before you make a bigger fool of yourself.

I didn't mean it literally. Maybe it was my mistake to say it that way. But I was thinking, most of the people here should get the point. Others I think they did.
