Selling on Amazon, Help

J

JustTVStands

We run a successful e-commerce site however we are struggling to 'break' amazon. Im comparison our sales on amazon are a fraction of what we do on our website. We would like to start racking them up on Amazon but not really sure how to best cleaning up. We are extremely competitive on price but any top tips would be really appreciated!

Many thanks in advance.

Edits and removes as I was totally off point.

Amazon is great for some markets, books obviously but not everyone thinks to go to Amazon for other items so it can be abit more difficult.

We have found Amazon is hard to crack, keep your prices in comparison with others, ensure your descriptions are well written and try as much as possible to ensure buyers are happy buying from you. Out of interest do you have a dedicated account handler at Amazon?

Amazon can be hard to crack, but a lot depends on your product and pricing.

If one of several suppliers, sales/returns will be diluted, but if it is a 'hot' product, a lot can be gained!

Think of it as another shop window. As long as you do not lose money, it can be good for exposure. There are also a lot of people who still will not use ebay and Amazon is possibly the main alternative!
