Self drive insurance company needed

Some of you may remember at the start of this year I started a self drive van hire business Tk discount van hire this forum was instrumental in me finding some of the companies I use in my business thank you for that one company that I did struggled to find was many insurance company's that offers this style of insurance. We are happy with our current company but they have a fixed price per vehicle regardless of type or age and I do not believe that the bigger rental firms can be paying this much per van. I am now needing to insure another van for this purpose and would like to see if there is any companies that any one could recommend thanks.

on a fleet basis the quote at the beginning of the year sets a "per vehicle type" price, and this is exactly how all the major companies do it.

What is costing you a lot of money is the fact you are a new startup

Ok yep this is what I understand thanks so hopefully the next van I insure I should get some sort of fleet discount if I do them both at the same time.

You won't get discounts till you have built up a three years claims history and have 5 or more vehicles

Toby, can you not get a pay as you go insurance? Did you buy your second van or looking into it?

Hi Steve No I haven't anything like that and did get a second van but unfortunately the guy pulled out last min. A little inconvenient to say at the least especially as it already had bookings. So we are looking for another one now. Have u started yet mate ?
