Hello All

Yes I know ive left it a bit late but im trying to logon to my self assesment page online. I am attempting to reset my password online (oh joy) but I have fallen at the final hurdle it is asking me for "My business registration" I have entered my Company number as on my certificate of incorporation but its not working what else could it be?

I just had a look and if you are trying to reset your individual password for the self assessment si doesnt ask for a company registeration number. Just asks the following;
- User ID
- e-mail
- UTR
- National Insurance #

maybe try again.

O.k didnt go that far as didnt want to reset my password and lock myself out.

All I can think of is the Registeration number is the User ID for your companys info, otherwise i`d be using the incorporation number like you. Obviously it wont have any letter in it though.

I phoned up there helpdesk it was some kind of business link reference.
Because I have created my government gateway account via the Business Link site apparently.

Anyway I just went onto the business link website and re-set my password there it didn't ask for half as many questions.

So now I can pay my tax build I should be happy I suppose :rolleyes:
