Russia and Ukraine online ?

I've just been checking my Google analytics and looked at the country of each visitor.

Its always been UK first, followed by USA in second place, then usually France or Germany in third place.

Now its UK first, Russia second and Ukraine in 4th position (USA slipped from second place to third)

I've never seen Russia or Ukraine anywhere in the list before now.

Can anyone suggest why this is?.

Hackers. Lots of them. I block pretty much all IPs from Russia.

I added a bit of code to OpenCart to block any .ru domain and block certain attempted user registrations. Is till get appx. one a week that slips through but they're very easy to spot.

I assume that it stops potential hackers from attempting to prob for weaknesses.

I meant what the Slavic hackers gain from so many fake registrations.
