My friend owns a restaurant and is getting new chairs as the current ones are quite battered.

They are extremely sturdy wooden framed just they need re upholstering.

I was wondering if there is any companies out there that would take them and reupholster them to resell on or is it a case of just taking them to the tip/getting a waste removal company to collect as there's 50

Can’t you get them upholstered yourself and sell them on eBay or wherever?

No storage space. So we need them gone on the same day the new ones arrive
Had a neighbour with a load of banquet chairs. They put them out the front of the building and they were gone by the evening.

The cost of refurbishment is probably going to be higher than the resale costs. Have you tried putting an advert on the local sites?
