Require Wordpress Users to Change Password on First Login

I have googled this but can't seem to find anything.

I will be adding around 50 users to a Wordpress site, their username will be something like their Payroll Number but all users when they login for the first time will have the same password, for example "password"

I was looking for a plugin that would require users to change their password when they log in for for first time. The only thing I can see is a plugin to get users to change passwords every 30 days, which isn't really any good for my needs?

Anyone know if such a thing exists?

Found a custom plugin that seems to do what you want, you can find the file here

I have created the plugin zip file which you can download here, download and save to your pc and then in WP admin go to plugins > upload and load the zip file.

I haven't tested the plugin and is quite old now but if find any issues I am happy to look at why it's not working.

You can do this without a plugin. Create the accounts, don't tell people their password. When you advise them about their new account, send them their id and a link to the forgot password page.
