Questionnaire for small business owners regarding their online strategy

Hi there, following on from this thread, I'm putting together a new business plan at the moment and need some raw data regarding small business attitudes to their online presence.

If anybody has five minutes to spare can they please answer about a dozen questions - there's nothing too taxing

If you can just say AYE and I'll PM you the questions.

Can't say I can give much in return. Maybe a thank you kiss to the ladies or a hefty slap on the back of the guys for being a good sport

I promise that I won't pass on these details to anybody else and I won't use the information to solicit business from you

Quite straight forward. Have you thought about taking the question relating to turnover out and seeing if the mods will allow you to publish it then?

yeah ommit that, then point out that members want to see the questions - can hardly call that spamming or mis-using the community!

I really do think it would be interesting to see how different people answer.

....but couldn't you make the questionnaire using something like survey monkey? (which is free if your just doing a few questions) you can get a link to email to people and you can run some reports. I did it a few months ago and had a good response from my customers. Just an idea for the future or if anyone else is thinking of doing the same

It just struck me, forums are a brilliant place to ask people to fill in questionnaires!

Try and stop someone on the street, no chance. But how many people log onto a forum when they have nothing better to do and are actively looking to give their opinions!
