Question about redirects

cpanel > redirects

Hi, hope you're having a great holiday . If I redirect my website to another website, and I then go into my FTP or cpanel etc to upload files onto my website, will that mess up my site, what will happen?

No it wont mess your site ..as the redirect rule will be updated in .htaccess of your first domain ..unless you change that rule the site will keep redirecting to the second site.

I would be very careful of doing anything of this nature - test, test, test. If you get your redirections wrong it could take a long time to sort out the mess with the search engines.
