I've just recently started a LTD company.

My question being..If I'm going to add money into my business account from my own personal account to start of the business, whats the best way to track this so I can claim it back...

I tried to do an online bank transfer, but one of my details was wrong online for my phone number, I updated this and I have to wait a week for this to update within lloydstsb before I can try to transfer again.. Should I just write a cheque or pay in cash to my business account..

Thanks

It doesn't really matter how you physically get the money into the new company bank account but make sure you record it as a directors loan in the company accounting records.

Yes it doesn't really matter how you make the transfer. Just put it in the Directors loan account.

Have you tried calling the bank to make the transfer for you or going into the branch?
