I am sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but I do not know where or what to do.
This colleague I was friendly (only saying hello) with started reporting me for no reason (I was only saying how are you how`s your day etc ) nothing rude or annoying.
They have reported me 4 times and I have been called in and investigated 4 times every time I have been found not guilty (Management checked witnesses and the cameras)
They told me to avoid her as much as possible which I am doing but she comes in the office canteen when I am on breaks when she has been told not to.
They walk around the building on the phone go for breaks when ever they like. The management will do nothing.
If i leave the office to get paper from the warehouse this person will run up to me then run in the office and make an allegation I said or done something.
I cannot leave the office alone as this person if they see me they will put in a false complaint/allegation.

Yip.

Seems there is a lot more to this story.

But agree with the above sit down and talk to HR
She has made complaints about other staff members for no reason. I’ve never said anything or done anything to her only say hello how was your day? Unless someone is instigating trouble. I’ve never had trouble like this any where I’ve worked before. Only this 1 person.

You need to request your company's grievance procedure and follow the process for that. On a personal level, I would suspect that if everything you're saying is true, they will already be managing and investigating her. At least any competent HR person/business leader would be if only from it being a case of she is clearly wasting company resources.

It makes me nervous leaving the office as she makes complaints about me. I genuinely don’t know what I’ve done to keep getting this behaviour from her. She hangs around the office door just before and after my break hoping to bump into me then she will tell management I said this or done something then I get called back in to a meeting.

If she has also made complaints about other members for no reason, why do you feel like you're being singled out?

Some total nutters have this effect on people. A distant neighbour started making my life a misery, verbal attacks in the street, damaging of my car, making up crazy allegations etc. She was well known to the police, serious mental problems. It took two years, but I finally caught her on CCTV, she accepted a caution, but didn’t expect the private prosecution.

She no longer lives in my road, fortunately for the other 96 residents and myself. Hardly a day passed where she did not verbally abuse someone, never met anyone like her in 60 years and hope I never do again.

    Apples and oranges then.

I simply don't see the point in asking for advice here if the issue is widespread. OP should be co-ordinating with the other colleagues.

Unless, of course, there's more to the story.
I am worried about losing my Job. I have a mortgage and children to feed. She kept reporting a colleague and they lost their job (they were temporary). I have never had a big conversation or spoken to anyone about her yet she keeps reporting me. That is what she kept doing to the temp worker.

My guess is that she’s related to upper management or a head case, or both.

Management advice to give her a wide berth, seems a weak response.

Maybe she feels threatened by you, that you may be a better employee?

If reporting the person has not alleviated the problem, which seems it hasn’t, and is making your time at work difficult, I would start looking for alternative employment.

    Not easy, I appreciate.

An option is to speak to an employment lawyer for advice and perhaps take action.

Good advice thanks. (I heard a conversation between her boss and my boss I have not told anyone.) Her boss came in the office and was asking my boss for advice. He was saying that she always goes on breaks every hour. She walks around the warehouse on her phone and he is watching her.
My boss sits next to me in the office so I heard the conversation. She strolls up to work when she likes. She is a temporary worker. He said he is going to recommend a drink and drug test.

Document and report. If nothing gets done, call in the Union.

The longer you leave things the worse it will get. Raise a complaint about malicious activity.

Don’t worry about losing your job. If they do then you raise a grievance and they will have to investigate.

Do not let this person bully you.

If she's causing so many problems for both you and other people, if the 'bosses' find her behaviour unsatisfactory and if she's a temporary worker, why don't they just get rid of her ? There must be a reason.

I do not know why she is still in her job. My work place is like that (soft management) There has been people who have had 96 days sick in a year and nothing is said. One guy used the excuse his father passed away he used this 3 times then he posts pictures on social media (Been out with dad today) with his father. I have never had a day off sick or been late in the time I have been there. (the reason I mentioned the guy having 96 days sick is to show management do nothing). One of the supervisors comes in smelling of drugs.

I'm somewhat sceptical. The stories about your colleagues are getting more and more extreme as you go along. I wonder if something else is going on here.
Everything I said is genuinely true. If people don’t hit the target been set nothing gets said or happens. People refuse to do a job and nothing happens the job gets passed on to someone else. If people are eating and get told to stop they just reply I don’t want to and nothing happens.

Well, several posters, myself included suggested a way forward. You don’t seem to have done anything. You do realise this will happen again until you do something about it?

I document and report everything she does I’ve even sent it to HR.
And how are you following this up? Have you also spoken to your union rep?

Why aren’t you looking for a new job. If this place is as toxic as you describe it’s not going to get any better.

There are members on here with their houses and life savings on the line employing people risking it all providing employment in their local areas .Keeping local economies alive ,under pressure proper living on the edge. Some are fighting to save their companies and the IPs on here are very busy

    What do you lot offer
Solutions to the playground politics of 11 year olds
When TF did this place become a parenting advice site

You have spent a week on this Why don't you do what you normally do and just ask "What did your lawyer advise"?

One feckin week on this I am frightfully astounded

I’ve spoken to the union and HR called her in this morning. I just want to do my job and go home. They pay is good here for my role that’s why I haven’t left yet. But I am looking.

That's never going to happen. This person is going to keep on raising complaints because nothing is ever going to be done to stop it happening. Grow a pair and stand up to this woman - she is a bully.

I hope HR does something they had a meeting with her today. I don’t want the silly behaviour at work. It was ok until she arrived and there has been lots of back biting since.

Such colleagues are sometimes found in every office, but do not worry because this situation is easily solved. HR.
My HR department is useless. I reported and they did nothing. All day long I still have to put up with complaints and moans, skiving off and finishing early. I really need to have a word with myself about this.
