Local store for most keys - front door is a "security key" (not sure what other sorts there are) and all the key cutters I have been to say it has to be sent away with proof of ownership of the property etc for duplicates - so i put up with a slightly sticky key

Not all Locksmiths charge the earth,
I do not chrage a call out charge, and i offer over 65's a 15% discount,
emergency opening of any door costs - £ 40 - 00 / no hidden chrages.

There are to many wannabe Locksmiths out there today, and it is bad.

I think that the armed forces started running courses to train as locksmiths a couple of years ago which has significantly increased the competition. Time to really get stuck into electronic systems I would suggest. Take that forward a little and you go for resetting codes on radios/cds etc.

What about an un-clamping service in major city cntres. That would go down a wow.
