Hi

I currently have a pub in the wigan area and just like everyone else at the moment we are struggling. We have recently been given a commercial pizza oven by a friend who's business has gone under recently. We would like to sell pizzas for eat in and take away but don't have the time to make the pizza bases myself and cannot afford to buy a machine to mix the dough. If anyone knows of a company that is able to supply frozen pizza bases and would like to share the information with me I would be very grateful!

There is a pint and pizza in it for you if you live close enough!:)

Thanks in advance for any help.

hello, my fiancee is italian and recommends NOT using frozen pizza bases, they seriously detract to the quality.
maybe sourcing fresh dough from a local bakers would be the best bet...fresh dough should keep for 48 hrs in the fridge....3kgs from our local deli costs £4.50 and will make roughly 9-10 large pizzas (round and thin).
hope this helps?

I know from my time working for Princes that they do pizza bases in their Napolina range. Likely to be available from Booker and other C&C places. Probably cost a bit though. I like making the dough myself but it can be time consuming.

These sprung to mind first, but not for a good reason. They don't taste that great.

Fresh dough from the bakers is probably the best bet in terms of quality and price.
