As far as I am aware you are trying to sell e-cigs and fluids to these shopkeepers. If I am correct then I would expect you to be on a hiding to nothing by selling on the phone... or any other way really. There are so many places that you can get these online that I can't see why anyone would have need of you to be honest. They can buy direct and bypass you. Unless of course you are selling them for half the price they can get them for...but I doubt it somehow. Sorry

Depends on product, the pitch, the person and the targeting.

A low cost consumer product would have a lot higher hit rate than someone selling financial products (for example). Back in the late 80's I worked for a company selling PC's in the student area of Cardiff - the boss had us phone bashing every phone number in the town looking for students to sell to. The serious lack of targeting meant we had something like a 0.001% hit rate.
