Hi Folks
Excuse me if this may be a silly question
Over the years I have been contributing to my pension via my limited company using an employers contribution form from my pension provider

I just wanted to double check that thats all there is to it in terms of accounting rules and principles, and there is nothing else that needs to be done to ensure that my company pension contributions are compliant?

thanks

There was a question related to pensions asked here; where @UK Contractor Accountant does explain the maximum allowed contributions if that's your question.

Thats pretty much it Jon as I understand it.

So long as you don't go over the contribution limits, and as an employer contribution thats a max of £40k pa.

Its all self policing; but the pension provider will have a few checks in place/spot anything obvious.

I think there is some confusion between employer payments, that the OP asked about, and employee payments where the £3600/£40k limits apply.
