PayZone Issues

Hi,
I recently signed up to PayZone to provide me with a payment gateway, I'm am a PHP web developer and finding the complexity and lack of information regarding PayZone for custom website integration infuriating and I'm getting nowhere with it. I've passed the PCI compliance with Barclaycard but am having major problems integrating the gateway with my website as this is a custom built website and PayZone only seems to cater for Magento.

I have emailed the technical team but they just keep forwarding me the installation instructions which are completely generic, based upon Magento integration. The files associated with Payzone have some code comments but they don't explain how integration can be accomplished.

My website already has a functional shopping cart where products can be added and on the same page, basic customer information with all being sent to a MYSQL database table. I just need to connect this data to the payment processing form but am unable to find a way to load the data already taken into PayZone.

Incidentally I work for a small business and have successfully integrated the ecommerce website I personally developed for that business with WorldPay which was really nice & easy to work with, unfortunately WorldPay won't accept me as a customer as they are very strict and my business is new.

Can anyone recommend a payment gateway solution which can easily be integrated into a custom built website, something similar to WorldPay or something with at least a fully explained installation procedure or failing that point me to a PayZone expert who can integrate this for me?

I was looking for a phone number for Stripe on their website but couldn't find one. Left them a message on their contact us page with all the relevant info. Auto reply said they'll get back within 24 hours. Fingers crossed.

Stripe does take 7 days due to us business being located in Europe so you will need a certain buffer in terms of credit somewhere.
7 days for processing payments? That's a little long but should be okay if it turns out to be the ideal solution software wise which is the hurdle I need to negotiate.
I just got an email from Stripe and then spoke to one of their reps. It seems Stripe is an API based solution, the same as PayZone. The only question would be are they willing to reveal how I can transport the amount and customer info already collected through my existing cart system to their payment processor.

Did you ever hear back from Stripe? This is one thing a lot of people run into with them versus other credit card processors... you can't actually get anyone on the phone.
