Hi,
I have been trying to calculate the taxes and NI that I need to pay as part of a contract under a Umbrella Company last year.
I was working as a contractor and my payroll was being processed by an Umbrella Company who were charging me 10% for their services. However, paying the employers NI was in my part of this equation.
My hourly rate was 12 GBP with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours making a Gross Total of 450 per week. However, the Umbrella Company used to run monthly payrolls and hence I am left with the following payslips for the months from december 2008 to March 2009
I was hoping if someone could advise me if I am owed a Tax and NI return.
I would really appreciate any help that I could get.
Thanks and Regards,
M
