I have a Client who has a paper file for their Purchase Invoices.

When I request PDF copies of their Purchase Invoices, they say things like 'come into our office and you can see them'.

They have asked me to set up Xero for them, which I am underway with.

But, I feel like I might be fighting an impossible battle.

This is not the only impossible battle I have faced in my fledgling bookkeeping career. More on that in another thread.

Thanks GLAbusiness. That is a really good point.
I am finding that the template LoE I have used needs a lot of improvements.

As above sort those T&Cs out ......... and let them know client visits with scanner in hand are £500 an hour. And as my son would say Dad "the red flags are already flying"

On the other hand...

I met an accountant not long ago who cheerfully labeled himself 'the shoebox accountant'.

His type of client were those who would turn up with a box full of old papers which he would wade through and turn into meaningful information. Obviously he charged accordingly.

Set up your stall. Be clear on parameters and charges
