As per title, anyone using online brochure/magazine software?

I found something more than a couple of years ago that looked like a classy magazine and allowed for YouTube videos to be set within a magazine style page, and - from a fading memory - to click on products or adverts linking to a website, but I can't recall the name?

Mods please move if in wrong section?

I've worked on developing software that takes a PDF and converts it into a page flipping brochure with mouse-turnable pages before so know a bit about this.

Have you managed to find anything similar yet?
Is displaying video in the pages a must-have requirement?

I'm waiting for my web guys to call me, but they currently host everything for me as far as I know?
If you use Office365 you may find the Sway app may do what you need. I don't know what the Google Workplace equivalent may be, but I've had a dabble with Sway and it seems to do quite a lot.
Had a quick look but might not be quite what I've seen before?

I've found the details of the example I mentioned in my opening post - Pagesuite - who look to have gone down a more corporate route. Adding videos was part of their previous offer.

I know there are FREE PDF converters out there and am now looking at Canva which I've used for reels and flyers for inspiration.

Interesting, can that actually produce the HTML/JS necessary to implement a flipping brochure?

People use phones and tablets. They scroll. Page flipping apps are counter intuitive. It’s far better to have a scrolling brochure.

We had a page turner on our car club website for the monthly magazine but it never proved popular. It’s now just a scrolling page and far more interaction.

Do you class scrolling as up and down as opposed to left to right?

Personally I favour left to right to maintain the typical way of reading a magazine.

We tried both. Vertical scroll worked best. And we changed the format so it was more like a webpage with lots of internal linking to related pages on the site. And we binned all the normal magazine caggage: headers, footers, cover pages and so on.

It was all built into the publishing software. You could export as pdf or html.

I used to do the layout for newspapers and magazine and whilst I know things have moved on a lot of our customers are old school and may prefer the left to right, everything in front of you look?

The aim is to wrap punchy editorial, around a catalogue of our product range. I/we have a reputation for breaking new stories, taking a different angle - that most agree with but hadn't thought of and I believe we can get to our customer base relatively cheaply this way.

I found Paperturn yesterday and had a closer look, thanks...

I'll probably do the trial and see how what templates are available as a lot of the examples they show online are very smooth and I need a bit of edge...
