@directmarketingadvice Fraud people need to be treated like this....You wouldn't believe they were listing companies on top in few dollars and there was no algorithm about how they were offering rankings. Moreover they were getting good business inquires which were used to send those who were paying for this from back doors.

They are not banned for their week seo knowledge they are banned for fraud.

Ironically, in my experience it's smaller SEO providers and even entrepreneurs who can often provide the best quality SEO results and within tighter budgets. I was talking to someone recently who owns a very big shop in the Diamond district in New York - we had an informal chat about how his site fell off Google after Panda/Penguin and it turns out he was paying 7k a month to a big SEO company who were effectively link spamming. Try using the disavow tool for 35,000 spammy blog comments!

Where did they find that many blogs with do-follow comments?

lol the 35,000 was somewhat tongue in cheek, I wasn't privvy to the exact number. He wasn't an SEO expert but was explaining the problem his website faced since Google penalized them. Clearly, the SEO agency that he hired was link spamming using any and every opportunity.
