nochex help

Hi Guys,

I have been using nochex, they have a reserve on my account of £300

I have exceeded £300 and now want to withdraw all my money but it wont let me and says:

Your current Nochex account balance is £313.08 and our agreed account retention is £300.00. Your available to withdraw balance is therefore £13.08.

How can I get around this and get all my money back?

I assume the £300 reserve is there incase of chargebacks? If that is the case then you wont be able to take it out unless you close the account.

I want to close my account. I want to stop using NoChex and get my £313 out

they won't let you close the account and withdraw the cash until the time limit for the £300 has passed.

Well you will have to ring, write, send an email or do it by smoke signals to cancel the account, otherwise nothing will change

I never saw my money when I closed my Nochex account a few years ago, about £80 I think it was.... They had told me I would get the money three months after closing the account.
I don't know what the procedure is now to close the account but I guess you need to document everything, send by recorded post, etc.

You can't. Old Welsh Guy has it. You'll have to wait until the notice period has elapsed - check their terms.

Be very careful before using this company. They have taken over €2000 of our customers money and refuse to release it, give any reason why they will not release it, give any timescale as to when, if ever they will release it. Read on-line reviews. Not to be trusted

and you know all of the details of the case and their accoun agreement? The timescale for repayment will be in the contract - what does that say?

"12.4.5 providing the Merchant has adhered to the Acceptable Use Policy at all times and the account is in good standing the Retained Balance, Rolling Reserve Balance and any other such Balance that may be owing to the Merchant shall be available for release one hundred and eighty days after the date of termination of this Contract"
