Hi

Just curious as to what the rest of you guys would do if a customer contacted you after nine months to suddenly decide they haven't received their order?

If that was the first time I had heard about it, I was be a little suspicious and thinking scam. If I order something, I would expect it to arrive within 2 weeks of paying for it and would be straight on the phone asking where it was. I wouldn't wait 9 months and then get in touch by email.

In practical terms the buyer can do nothing. It is past the A-Z claim period for Amazon, it is past the chargeback period for any debit or credit card.

Other than generously offering a refund (if you choose) you can do nothing either. You cannot claim it is lost and claim a refund from the carrier, you cannot do any kind of track/trace.

I have just had this situation from a german customer who claims his early December 2010 christmas present order did not arrive. I said I could do nothing after so long.
