Anyone tell me how to delete a post that I recently posted as Ive looked everywhere for the button but cant find it.

I wish to have this post removed can a mod remove it for me please:(

Or you can just go back and change it utterly.

I don't think you can delete a post - which has always annoyed me.

There is a time limit for editing posts for non paid members, they have limited it so you only have so long to edit you post before its fixed forever - not sure how long the limit is though.

Hi RLM,

Can you PM me the link to the post you want deleting and why?

The reason a delete function isn't there is that many threads on UKBF are discussion-based - and a full history of posts is key to that discussion. Start deleting posts and we'd have a whole bunch of threads that might not make sense.

All members need to be very conscious of what they're posting before doing so - it's not fair on everyone else who has contributed to a thread if one person suddenly decides that they've changed their mind about what they've said, delete their post, and make the discussion meaningless.

However you can edit your post up to 24 hours after posting - this applies to both Full and Free members, and again for the same reasons mentioned above.

If you feel that this isn't the right approach, do let me know your thoughts.

Cheers,
Darren

You could allow the delete option for a certain amount of time? 5 mintues or something. I wanted a post removed a while back but gave up after PMing two mods and the post not being removed.
