hi.
thanks for your reply.
if you know or could advise on some wholesalers that sell fashion jewellery that would be brilliant.i have found a few but alot of them are canny prices so i would have to sell them at a canny price to make a profit, and if you have any tips for me on market traders and what to expect that would be excellent.thanks.:)

Hi Tracy and welcome. Can't help on the questions though but think you would be better off putting your questin in the general section as presumably your suppliers don't need to be local.

I know it probably doesn't help short term but I do know someone who sources clothes in the Far East. I could ask him if he can help if you are interested

Hi Tracey, we too started on the markets and I still do a couple to this day but we have noticed a definate decline over the past years. There's nothing too say that the right person (with the right product) can't make a living though.

Good luck and welcome.

Hello and welcome to the forum. I started a website and sell at craft fairs, as I can't commit to a market, due to my full time job. Please feel free to visit my website: www.ginnyscards.co.uk I sell cards and gifts and jewellery and althought the prices on the website are retail, I do supply to shops in Rotherham and NE Lincs, at wholesale prices. Please let me know if you are interested in any of the products on the site. Regards Ginny x

Tracy, Yes I have a wholesale price list. Please PM me if you are intersted in any of the products and I will then pass the price list over to you, as I am in the middle of reviewing it, so I can offer better discounts for bulk purchases. Just to let you know what is selling well at the moment, on my site and at the craft fairs: Framed poems and all the jewellery are the best sellers and I can provide packaging at wholesale prices too, such as organza bags and gift boxes (ideal for weddings, especially at this time of year) and the cards are what I supply to shops in my area. Oh and the message stones have been much more popular that I imagined they would be. Great little keepsakes. Look forward to hearing from you. Ginny x

I realised you weren't doing clothing. He goes to the Far East quite often and i'm sure he would take a look for you at Fashion Jewellery for you. He is there at the moment and comes back tomorrow

It's just the prices are good and its easier to make a profit even if he adds a little bit on

I'll have a word over the weekend and see what he says
