new logo, feedback please

what do you guys think of these? which is best, and what amendments would you do if any. will be for a falconry business providing pest control for businesses and falconry experiences for the public

Thanks for the replies people. I was leaning towards D myself. while is was good with the letter A in the falcon, it just looked to DIY and cartoony for my liking. Will try a few different colours on the D logo and go with that I think.

I like C and D personally.

I agree about the colours, but I don't think they need to be more vibrant. Falconry is generally associated with the countryside, so a bit of green in the logo would be a good idea.

Change the colour of "Falconry" to green and do the same with the bird and that should do the trick in my opinion.

And just in case you weren't completely sure, I would also say 'D'. As others have said perhaps look slightly at the kerning and also a possible introduction of green to brighten it up just a little.

I'm going to be honest and say I don't really like them much. Are you doing them yourself or have you paid for those ideas?

Id be tempted to have two logos. One for recreational falconry and one for the commercial use. By trying to hit both markets those designs are actually just missing both.

My thoughts exactly, I like D but it is very commercial, i.e would suit the pest control side but doesn't relate well to the falconry experience side of the business. You need something softer, more traditional for that.

'C' for me...

ANTRIM in D looks too big to my eye.

I'd change ANTRIM to a slightly different font, Gisha, IrisUPC may work.......

Coulourwise, stick with browns and greens as suggested (But the bird surely has to be brown!!?)

Have seen every sort of colour except green in birds of prey lol. But colour doesnt really matter, the shape should show what it is. Thinking I might make the bird a saffron colour, as its antirm county's colour, ill mix it up and bit and see how it goes. thanks again for the advice. Will also work on the text spacing a bit.

p.s I have thought about using two logos, but then the problem comes to using what logo on the van, site etc.

Well my personal choice is Option 'D'. it is perfect portraying the right message, good design and eye catching style.

D is my vote.

Colors need to be worked on though really. They feel a bit dull.

Like someone mentioned, with something like this you normally think countryside which is normally more vibrant, free, warmth.

Don't forget that there is an awful lot more to marketing than choosing your logo. A business such as yours doesn't even really need a logo, it will all be down to the marketing strategy.:)

Sorry, slightly of topic but thought it worth mentioning that by far the best way to market a business like yours will be though strategic alliances. I have no idea what you are currently doing but my advice would be not to worry too much about the logo, and dont spend money on advertising.:)

C and D looks more appealing to me but it seems like a logo for a mail services. So stick to A or B and play around with the font and color.

Just my opinion.
