I couldn't find an existing thread to introduce myself so I just wanted to say hi. I have been reading these forums for a while without posting and find them to be a useful and informative resource. I work in B2B software solutions within the parcel industry and I would like to make relevant contributions where I can so if anyone has any questions around this sector I will be happy to help. I am not here to promote my business; I just want to be part of the community and I find myself with lots of questions where other small business owners could provide useful insight. I'm very new to this and I've read all the rules and guidelines prior to posting, but if anyone has any helpful links to get me started they would be appreciated.

Best way to do things is just answer questions as they are asked. We get a number of questions about packaging, postal and courier services so hopefully you will be able to offer your insight.

Indeed, a massive welcome to UKBF
I'm much the same, try and chip in every so often where i feel i can add value. Joined Christmas 2019 and been here ever since... LOL
Business climate obviously very choppy at the moment so lots of worried posters.

The way i see it is if you can add value from your own experience on some of the threads, if it ultimately helps just one person or even someone outside reading the thread with similar concerns that's a good thing, you have made a difference albeit in a small way.

Often in business it can be a lonely place as we know, a community like this in some instances really can collectively help resolve a situation, as they say "a problem shared is a problem halved" although prior to joining UKBF if i ever chatted to my mum about a business issue it felt more like "a problem shared is a trouble doubled" but most of us have all been there to.
