Anybody know where I can get more information on these i.e. when they're being released, how much, any guarantees etc.

Are there any other extensions being planned in the near future?

I dont think there available just yet but you can register your interest in a domain.

We used these guys, they seem to have everything set up well.

According to a reliable source (our registrar)

Open Registration begins in 2006 - the only restriction for Open Registration is that you are geographically based within the European Union (for eu domains).

If you want to pre-register a domain, you can do so now.
