New Dell Desktop - Opinion?

I've been looking at a new desktop and found what looks to be ideal from Dell:

In summary:
Intel® Core™ i7-4790 Processor (Quad Core HT, 3.60GHz Turbo, 8MB, w/ HD Graphics 4600)

• Windows 7 Professional (64Bit Windows 8.1 License, Media) English

• 8GB5 DDR3 SDRAM at 1600MHz
• 500GB 3.5inch SATA (7.200 RPM) Hard Drive
• 16X Half Height DVD+/-RW Drive

All for £629 + VAT

Any thoughts on the value for money or if you'd go for something else?

Dell offer good value for money in my experience, and this machine would be very capable of most every day tasks.

If you don't have any specialist needs, I think this machine could be a good choice.

Google Dell outlet.

We got our Dell server from their outlet, with warranty for about 1/2 what a new one costs.

I think ours was a customer return, others might have a small dent etc, but they work perfectly.

Choice isn't as wide, and you can't customise it but you might get lucky with a high spec box for a bargain.

Never had any problems with Dell and all our servers come from them as well as most of our desktops.

The Dell come with DDPE Personal Edition License + ProSupport for Software 1 Year - is this really needed? (I can save £11.80 not having it! )

This is what Dell say;
