(Sutton, London, 22/08/12) - Today marked the launch of Netwise Hosting’s brand new online backup services, designed to cater for working business environments that require multiple workstations and servers to be secured against local threats to data integrity.

The new system, which completed primary testing in early July, is now fully operational and on sale through the Netwise Hosting website. Office packages enjoy easy-to-manage desktop environment backups for an unlimited number of Windows, Mac and Linux machines, while the premium Enterprise packages also add server backups into the mix, including live MSSQL and MySQL database and MS Exchange server services.

Matthew Butt, Managing Director at Netwise Hosting, explained why this new system has been put into action; “We initially identified a strong need to build a new backup solution for our own dedicated server and colocation clients - the one we had in place wasn’t working hard enough for us, particularly for those with multiple services. We opted to develop our own system that would not only appeal to our own clients, but also those with primary services elsewhere, or for those with office environments that simply wish to back up their information off-site.”

The management at Netwise Hosting hope this refreshed service will bring a new market to their front door, servicing a far wider range of clients, and bringing their first data centre to capacity sooner - ready for the already scheduled build of NH:DC2.

The new service has already been very well received amongst Netwise Hosting’s existing clients, who got exclusive first access to the new software.

“It works right out of the box, and lets us backup our dedicated servers in NH:DC1 as well as our office computers here in Newcastle” said Sarah Foister, of Tyne Internet.

The company’s first major Enterprise clients are expected to go live later this month.
