I'm relocating, new office currently has no phone yet (there is a phone line in so should be straigtforward to connect) , so I am looking at options.
This is for a small business, only one phone needed.
Voip phones look promising but I also need a broadband connection.
Can anyone recommend a voip company that can also provide the broadband connection as I would prefer to have one company provide the whole package.
I know BT can but they are pricey.

I think you will find most broadband providers are not good at VoIP and most VoIP providers are not good at broadband. Each offers the other as a value-added service.

Personally I would focus on finding an excellent internet provider and a separate excellent VoIP provider, both being best in class in their respective areas.

I can recommend Dial9 for VoIP.

It is generally a good idea to to use both services from the same place so that if there is a problem, the companies can't blame each others.

If the VoIP company is clever and has invested in their on broadband network - rather than reselling someone else's - they can also proritise the voice service over all other uses so that there's no possibility of intereferance.

Of course we do all that :)

Very pleased so far, just about to try a trial setup. Voipfone account is free then £2 plus VAT for my phone number which I can port from my landline, then £1 plus VAT for each phone extension. So possible to have an extension at home and office. This works over broadband obviously but all in all sounds like a nice solution and the guy I spoke to was extremely helpful.
