What type of writing are you looking for in particular? I am a freelance writer that focuses on SEO content, copywriting, blog posts, articles and journalistic writing. I've worked with Huffington Post, Time To Change, Help for Heroes, People Per Hour's blog, Kurt Geiger, All Saints, Wagamama, Mercedes Benz, Range Rover, Miele, Accident Advice Helpline, Euronics, Rug Doctor, Price Bailey, Caremark Franchises, KPIB, Boutique To You, Wedding Legend, Planet Ivy, Netstar...To name a few! I'm based in the UK, however lived in Chicago for quite a large part of my teenage years, therefore am pretty fluent in US English, too.

Please let me know a little bit more about what you're looking for and even if I can't help, I may be able to point you in the direction of someone who can.

First, you need to find out what the writing needs are
What do you expect from the writer
Cite some skills or capabilities that are important to be completed by the writer
Finding a good, trusted and with credibility writer is hard to find

i know somebody who's pretty good, what's your budget for content? they usually charge on a hourly basis

I would be interested to know this as well. It gets old having to go through 5 or 6 people on Freelancer just to get one decent writer.

Most times, you can post a 'want to buy' thread on your favorite webmaster forum. You will be able to locate many qualified writers in this way. Just be sure to look at writing samples first and read customer reviews and testimonials from the writer, before committing to the project.
