Multi Currencies - Not Auto Converted Prices

We have a Magento store with the base currency in GBP.

We would like customers to be able to pay in either GBP, USD or EUR. However, instead of just showing the customer a converted price that will be switched back to GBP whne they make the payment we would like to be able to set the prices for each currency ie £100, $150, €140.

If the customer selects USD then they would pay exactly $150 (no conversions etc).

What is the best way to achieve this?

Neither at the minute. We just have one store view in GBP at the minute and trying to desired the best way to add USD/EUR and have fixed prices.

From what I can see it seems like we would need each currency as a new website but this wouldn't be ideal as would require different URLS for each currency (I think)?

Hi, probably a few options then.

1 - Create multi websites, you do not have to create multiple URLs no, you can have the same URL per website view.

2 - You can create store views and use a module, http://innoexts.com do some good pricing modules, you could try the store view pricing module if you wanted to create seperate store views.

3 - One other thing you can try if you are using Paypal you you can use a module like this to pay in the currency, by default paypal would take the price from the base currency always and not use store view or display currency prices.

Ok, thanks. I think option 1 might be the best if each website can have the same URL. This way we can set different base currencies for each website. I think this would be the least problematic in the long run.

Option 2 - I have used Innoexts in the past and although it allows you to set fixed prices this is really only for display and still gets converted back to the base currency.

Option 3 - I think this could be also cause some problems as I'm assuming the transaction would still be recorded in the base currency in admin so refunds etc could be tricky. We'd also prefer not to be listed to only PayPal.

The only possible solution I found was option 1, with the store code added to the URL, geoip directing visitors to the correct website based on their country, and a website switcher instead of store switcher.

Maybe this creates some SEO issues....

Innoexts does not support to set separated prices for different currencies per storeview.
I faced with the same problem, I found a module named BSS Multistore Pricing to set different prices for different currency for each store without getting converted back to the base currency.
I'm using it and it works well.

And from what I see on your website, BSS Multistore Pricing DOES NOT. It only allows pricing per store view and for that we have another extension - Store View Pricing which, unlike your extension, is free.
So, please don't mislead the members of our community.

And, the extension helps me to set separate prices - separated currencies for each storeview of EACH STORE.
Don't tell me that I wasted my money, cuz' I DID NOT!
No "converted back to the base currency", no "only for display". And it goes through each store!
I'm sorry, but I know my $79's spent in the right place!
