Hi All,
If you haven't already heard, I just thought I would let you all know about several top-level security flaws that were publicised last night by Microsoft affecting versions of Windows Server 2003, 2008 and Windows 7 in most flavors i.e. Web Edition, Standard, Ultimate, Pro etc.
They have uncovered a security issues in their RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) connection services alongside several other less critical loop holes. We have just released a blog post which contains further information on this: http://blog.netwisehosting.co.uk/microsofts-rdp-security-flaws/.
To protect yourself against this it is best to run Windows Update as soon as possible as the patch files have been released to protect against this list of critical flaws they have now uncovered.
All the best,
Matthew
