Marketing alcoholic drinks on website

An English private limited company wishes to advertise alcoholic drinks on its website. The drink products will be shipped from France directly to the customer who may be located in UK or in any other country in Europe. Are there any restrictions or regulations on this kind of marketing activities based on an English website?

I can't comment on a legal side, but you generally find on websites where they are advertising an alcoholic drink they abide by the "drink moderately" campaign, and require you to confirm you are 18 or over when you enter the website.
