Mailchimp or Hubspot?

I started my business offering lab and consulting services to personal care and topical pharmaceutical companies 10 years ago. It hasn't proved to be too difficult to find clients and I've tended to go through the motions on marketing as I've always had enough work. But things are a bit tighter now so I need to take seeking new business seriously. I've got a list of people who've signed up to a newsletter in Mailchimp, but I haven't done a great deal with it. Is it a good time to switch to Hubspot? It seems to offer more options?

Do you currently send newsletters? If so do they generate any leads?

What do you think hubspot is going to give that you don’t already have?

That's a good question.

Yes I do send newsletters and yes they generate leads - but I am planning to increase my activity and grow my list.

I have a feeling I should be doing more to engage with my audience, which Mailchimp doesn't help with much. I want to segment my contacts so I can push relevant offers to the right businesses and that sort of thing.

You can do all that with mailchimp.

Here's a bit on MailChimp segmentation: mailchimp.com/features/segmentation

If you're new(ish) to email marketing and segmenting users, its probably best to stick with MailChimp. You don't need a learning curve, you just need to reach your audience in a more targeted way.
+1 to this, no point moving as Mail Chimp does everything you have said you need.
