MAKE A COFFEE, SAVE A LIFE
People get cancer. People drink coffee. There is no relationship between the two but drinking coffee at work can assist people living with cancer. Heres how.
Milton Keynes and Leighton Buzzard based vending company, Vendesent, have linked with leading cancer charity, Macmillan Cancer Support, in a project that allows hundreds of offices and thousands of employees to take part in the worlds biggest coffee morning and to make a worthwhile contribution to funding Macmillan services throughout the year.
Offices and businesses initially throughout the three counties, but now expanding nationwide, can help support Macmillan each and every time someone buys a hot drink from one of Vendesents range of specially designed hot drink vending machines.
Adam Fahn, 25, the founder of Vendesent said Offices and public places can have a machine from us knowing that 5% of the machines turnover goes straight to Macmillan so they can continue their good work. I am thrilled we can install a vending machine that so many offices already need and at the same time raise money for this cause.
Vendesent is now actively seeking companies to take on these machines, which are ideal for companies with more than 25 staff and also retailers, leisure centres, remote locations and other public places with a high footfall. Vendesent can be contacted on 0845 644 2921 or at www.vendesent.co.uk.
Doug Russell, Macmillan Bedfordshires fundraising manager said Our local community has always shown a great deal of support, but many people are not able to host or attend our annual coffee morning event. Thanks to our partnership with Vendesent, many more people can take part, not just once a year, but every day.
