Looking for a CRM

I wasn't a massive fan of ZOHO, I was looking at Dynamics because you we use Office 365 and Teams so it integrates well with them.

I haven't used that one, but I know someone who's been using both Zoho and Dynamics, her business is actually about helping people get their processes in the cloud, use CRMs, etc.. so if it helps, I'm happy to put you in touch with her.

Hey buddy thank you for the offer but at the moment i think this is something we are just looking at and might need some help in the future but right now i think we are ok. Can i come back to you if i end up not getting anywhere?

Zoho, Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365 are some of the good CRM software for small business. Depending on your requirements and business you can choose any of them. If you are looking for free CRM software then Hubspot is also a good option. It offers a completely free version of its CRM software and is very popular among small businesses.

We tried a few CRMs including OpenCRM but we eventually went with Zoho - for the price, you cant fault it.

It comes with their own versions of other software - workdrive is similar to dropbox for example. Im a big fan.

Seriously consider building your own in-house, we did.

There are many people that will disagree with me on this one I am sure, the reality is that with a basic set of resources to learn HTML, Css, Php & Mysql, you can build out something pretty good that is web based.

I built our first in house "call center" dashboard for our sales agents using html, php & csv files!
Granted, I'm an experienced software engineer with an AI & ML background but I am certain that anyone with a willingness can do it, i've seen it done.

Today, only one system we use internally is off the shelf & on it's way to being replaced.

There will be all of the arguments under the sun about why you should not build your own (security , speed, etc.). actually these are reasonable but all are fairly easy to overcome.

I would be more than happy to have a call with you, find out your goals & put together a roadmap for you to follow, If you're willing to get your hands a little dirty you can save thousands & have something with no monthly cost attached to it.

Just my 2c.

It all depends what exactly you expect from this program. Earlier suggestions are very good. Everyone will find something suitable.

Own system sounds like a solution for advanced users. But if someone can do it why not

Hardly surprising as they are both part of the same family.
Dynamics knocks the socks off the free and low priced offerings in the market, but there is nothing that Dynamics does that can't be done in SharePoint elements of O365. Spend a little time planning what you want to achieve and use the modules of O365 to create the solutions

'Best' depends on your requirements

I found Pipedrive to be the 'best' for me when we were sales oriented.

Currently I find Zoho 'best' because it is free and I don't really need a CRM except to store historical contacts.

HubSpot now offer a free CRM which is good, more geared towards B2B businesses than B2C

It also has some limitations that require an upgrade to a paid service to lift: only one pipeline, a limit on the number of contacts (which you are going to hit if you are B2C even if a small business), etc.

I am certain that anyone with a willingness can do it

I think you are being very optimistic there.

I've tried out more than 20 CRM platforms.

Close.io impressed me the most for it's ease use, intuitive layout and excellent support.

Hi there, there is no BEST CRM for SMB, it depends what you need.
If you need a CRM for managing customer data why not use Zoho or Capsule. If it is for marketing the Hubspot is the leader, if it is for sales you should look at noCRM.io
Close is great but expensive.

We use Pipedrive and I don't think we will move away.

Tried Hubspot/Zoho/Insightly/Agile

What we like about Pipedrive
- We started using it to track deals through different stages,
the thing we really like about it is that it always asks you to follow up e.g. whats the next step for the deal.

We are now using it for
- Task management
- Meeting / Call Scheduling
- Prospecting Leads (in beta)
- Automated Website Chatbot (this is so good)
- Seeing all emails from all employees related to a single client

It really depends on what you need,
If you want a trial PM me as I get a $100 gift card :)

Try Workbooks. Its free for 2 users and has most of the bells and whistles!

Another vote for Workbooks. I like that it comes with everything we need, easy to use, they have an actual phone number (they're a UK company). I also like all that stuff around business management which saves me a ton of time instead of messing around with s/sheets.

I also like that everything's in the box. I can choose to use it or not and I can see why they're growing so fast.

But it isn't. The website offers s fee trial - after that it's at least £21/month/user

Far from being UK based they are based in Connecticut. Only their HQ is in the UK.

The offering looks good on the web site, but then it should be good for the price. The entry price buys you only CRM, if you want other functionality, you have to pay for it on a per user basis.

When you've done all that, your data is entirely siloed in the workbooks system. If you need to use that data anywhere else in your business your have to export or cut/paste.

The same applies to any other CRM system. Dynamics 365 does integrate directly with Office 365, Salesforce, Zoho and a few others can be made to integrate with Office 365, but none of them do anything that cannot be done simply and easily using SharePoint on a basic Office 365 licence plan.

That will cost you a whole lot less than any free or paid for CRM that is grafted onto your business system.

Eh?

This is their free version for two users. How can you say this doesn't exist when it exists: https://www.workbooks.com/free-edition/ - it's excellent, free and what I started with.

It's a British company expanding into the US. Seeing a British company take on US CRM companies is a real, David vs Goliath battle but they're succeeding which is amazing to see. I looked at their website and here they are: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=7&v=5ckpAigbFb0&feature=emb_logo

The entry buys a complete system which I have. I can run a business straight out of the box and there's a load of functionality which replaces stuff like spreadsheets. There's a ton of stuff I don't use but it's all there.

There are a bunch of good CRM solutions out there and I've used everything from Salesforce to Hubspot. They're all pretty decent and Workbooks is one of a number I think is worth looking at.

Great if it works for you. I just find it strange that they don't advertise the free edition on the front page of their Web site.

They also limit users to 10GB per DB, so there are limits on growth. My remarks on siloed data still stand. This is just another sales hook. If it works for you that's fine, but it will cost as the needs grow

Hubspot is a good solution. The agency I work for and clients use it. I love the functionality of it. For small businesses, I would suggest either getting the free or starter account.

I've had Odoo set up for about 4 months now. We used a consultant to create the specific functionality but it has a great sales pipeline and reporting function. Also, there is an automated odds-of-closing function.

My favourite part is that we integrated our calling system in easily and so can call out directly.
