Hi there guys,

Over the past few weeks, I've been getting quotes from multiple companies across UK for a leased line. Although they all provided me with the same service (100Mbps symmetrical), they all differ in prices, some of them few hundred pounds difference.

Is there anything that's different about them? The quality of service? Router provided? Customer services?

Quotes Provided:

Vaioni - £490/month no install fees(MikroTik RB2011 Router) subject to Survey
ChunkyChips - £515/month no install fees(don't know if router is provided or not yet)
VirginMediaBusiness - £622.5/month + £3000 installation cost (Cisco Router)
Exponential-E - £600/month no install fees (don't know if router is provided or not yet)
Managed Communications - £555/month + £252 installation fees
Your IT Works - £685/month + £1900 Connection fees + £534 Router
BT Wholesale - £736.42/month + Juniper router + free install
2 Circles Communications(talktalkbusiness) - £650.67/month + Cisco 2951 Router, free install

It's my first time looking into, and I just need some advice. Thank you, much appreciated.

Regards

In 90% of all cases, The leasedline will be a BT based line ( at some point ).

Routers will indeed vary however, the performance shouldnt differ too much ( or at all. ) I would expect a Juniper or a Cisco to perform fine at 100mb.

There are indeed a few things that will vary.
    - SLA.. How much uptime do they guarantee?
    - Fix times.. How long will it take to have a fault fixed? ( 4 hours is fairly standard )
    - ISP Performance . The ISP itself may be sluggish or badly run.. this can affect your line quite a lot.

BT and Virgin are very solid. I have dealt with both in the past and have worked well, including fix times.. ( Engineers on site within a few hours normally )

We use a company called ellesys for all our our clients and the support is amazing, personal touch as well, you always get a name you know, our contact is mike 01189070064 / 0844770191

I stay away from BT directly but choose to have a BT line managed by someone else as the SLA is better, BT treat people like rubbish sadly. Virgin and Managed Comms are good. but i agree with what Lynxus said as well
