Landline to mobile

I am looking for a provider that can offer this, I just want to pay a monthly fee regardles of minutes used - it will mainly be incoming calls.
I also want to be able to switch who gets the calls - ie 95% of the time the number will call my mobile, but if I am busy/away it would be helpful to be able to transfer it to someone else.

It looks like EE do it (I could be wrong), but does anyone else?

Yes you are correct that EE do it, but from what you are saying, it sounds like you need more flexibility.

I use a company called "Invoco" where you can choose a telephone number and you can either tell it to divert a number to a voicemail, existing landline, VOIP or mobile. Also, if your first choice fails, it can try a second one.

Also, it can be cheaper depending on your call volumes you are likely to get.

Hope this helps.

Voipfone have something which I have but rarely use as it is 10p per minute I think.

It also has an app which uses your data / wi-fi so that when they ring the landline, your mobile rings through the app. This is free as it is essentially Voip.

They also have (had ?) an app for iphone only which use NFC to determine whether to use the landline or the phone.

Of course, your landline phone has to be capable of Voip.

Vodafone had something as well, named Red perhaps ? which was essentially a landline number on your mobile. I don't know about costs.

Take a look at Skype (not Skype for business). You can purchase a number and receive incoming calls on any device running either the app or web app. So, you can make and take calls from PC, laptop, tablet or mobile phone.
You can purchase an option to make calls to any land line in any country for a flat fee. You choose the country(s) at setup, or you can opt for global.
You can forward calls to up to three alternative numbers on conditions arising. Manual switch, call busy, call unavailable, call unanswered, or forward to voice mail.
I think the number purchase is around £3 or £4 per month and the call land line option is around £10 per month. You would need to add some Skype credit for calling mobiles and premium rate numbers (0800, 0845).

Bt I have always used them and when you ring the landline on the website . It goes to my mobile device when on divert .
Things don't always happen this way sometimes your diverted to Ralph but this is normally when I am concerning myself with other tasks that may require concentration . This normally involves some sort of computer ,wifi ,server, dongle, cable ,laptop garbage stuff :);)

Voipfone are good if you're not expecting a lot of calls, as the divert from landline number to mobile is £10p a minute.

I wish their mobile minutes were cheaper. I can't fathom how they charge 10p a minute to call mobiles when you can effectively pay 0.5p for mobile to mobile. I'm sure voipfone are passing on their wholesale costs, but why is landline to mobile wholesale costs so expensive with mobile to mobile are peanuts.

Exactly what I have been looking for. Fixed fee unlimited worldwide international calling. For number and worldwide unlimited package it works out less than £200 a year (paying annually)!!! Cheers

If you want to call customers on mobiles cheaply (while giving them your landline caller ID then skype is the way to go.

£6 for 400 mins (landline or mobile) PLUS it has an authenticated caller ID system where it will display any verified number as your caller ID.

Great if you call mobiles a lot. I don't actually use this service as I seldom call out to mobiles. But I do have incoming calls diverted to my mobile which I can't avoid.

To save money, don't divert to your mobile.

Install Zoiper softphone app on your mobile. Then when the office phone rings your mobile rings too, pick it up on either device, simple as that, no incoming call divert costs.

assuming you have very good data on your phone at all times. Which is risky. Whn you're driving in your car there is little chance of having a problem free copnnection.

In theory yes but in practice no. It simply doesn't work and the fall back to transfer to mobile doesn't work either, certainly not reliably.

Does anyone have experience with either of these companies:
    https://www.virtuallandline.co.uk/
    http://www.tamartelecommunications.co.uk/

They both seem to offer what I am after with unlimited calls for around £10 a month give or take.

I am not looking for the cheapest, I am looking for something good and reliable but with the minutes included as I have no idea how long I spend on the phone each month so do not want to get stung for a massive bill.
