To the researchers' surprise, the primitive creature's pelvis was "the most human-like" ever discovered among a prehuman species, Dr. Berger said.
Most scientists have longed believed that the pelvis evolved to accommodate the birth of big-brained infants. But this early species had very small brains, leaving researchers wondering whether the need to walk more efficiently, rather than the demands of childbirth, shaped the biomechanics of the pelvis and hip joints.
"This hand is wonderful. The foot is fine. And the pelvis is spectacular," said anthropologist Philip Rightmire at Harvard University's Peabody Museum.
"Evolution is more convoluted than we thought."

How so???
A perfect creation from a perfect Creator wouldnt need to evolve would it - in fact, such a creation would preclude evolution.

So youre saying it's not possible for God to create a perfect creation, that would not need to evolve in order to adapt and survive :|
So, man, created by God, was not created perfectly in his image then, because man evolved....
I fully agree if something is a creation of natural processes, evolution is a given..... but Im pretty sure if God made man, as in Adam and Eve, we wouldnt have evolved, as we wouldnt have needed to, as we'd be ''perfect'' from the beginning...

What do we know happened to the species that failed to adapt and evolve???
They died out.
There's a celestial world of difference between optimumly evolved for the prevailing environment, and being ''perfect''.

Well, you do die out, and it wasnt perfect for the 90 or so percent of all living things since the beginning of time that evolved for a period of time, but still died out.

Humans had competition, Neanderthals and various others. You know why we survived? Simply because an important part of our make up was superior.
You can't suggest it is all perfect by claiming we were created as we are today.
How come they are finding 2 million year old skeletons similar to us but not us? Where have they found 2 million year old skeletons that are exactly us? They haven't.
You can't take the bible seriously when its focus is on someone filling a boat with 2 of each species on earth which would be 16 million on the boat give or take, and leaving the dinosaurs and various other things we find in the ground behind... How in any way does this make sense? Never mind the lack of water to do what they claim.

one can argue that the view of imperfection is actually what makes it perfect.the image of perfect in the mind sometimes can be one of "perfect" without imperfection.its the false image of perfection that makes one believe its not perfect when in reality that is what perfection is.
i see a mini cooper created in the 60s then i see a mini cooper created in 2010.both perfect both similar but not the same.evolution from creation
neanderthal was perfect for its time,the new genereation is then perfect for its time and so will be the next.its the perfection of evolution.if the bits and bobs that made the neanderthal are in us also then the neanderthal man did in fact have the perfect solution to continue .neanderthal man has not died because they are in us

yes it can.and the new man can go into space and build rockets.
the next new man may be able to travel to distant galaxies in a way this man cannot.there is no doubt the next new man will be better than this one,just as the new mini is better than the old.

maybe the tools of god needed to also evolve to create.
just as the tools of man needed better tools to create better minis
if we are in the image then what does image mean?
does it mean looks?
does it mean the mind?
does it mean the whole thing.?
does image mean that everything we do as in create ,evolve and push forward not also mean the image?
in my mind i cannot see god not evolving, moving forward ,creating new better and each one perfect for its time.
if god did not evolve or progress then nothing would

Just picture though, do you think the people who wrote the book of contradictions and generalisation could ever picture a car or a plane or being in space. Yet people alive today are happy to read a book written by people more close minded than the most close minded person on earth today.

Playing with words again Parth.
Hmmm, having not read the Bible, recognised, without God's intervention there would be no progress, only doom and gloom, so I considered his reasoning, worth a slap on the back, for thinking outside the box, which shows, he is moving in the right direction, which I must say, was refreshing to say the least.
Hmmm is thinking about things, which will hopefully help him, to find the real truth.

Exactly.
So we're left with why a perfect God would allow such an imperfect process as evolution to bring us into existence - cant remember the guys name (I only read up on this 2 days ago, the old marbles are losing their shine) but he put forth a pretty good case for the fact if we could rewind the tape of life, there is all but zero chance it would turn out as it did the second time of asking, implying man might never have made it to centre stage.
I do find that a little troubling I have to say.

What I was implying was correct, whether you think it or not my friend, naughty naughty Parth, Hmmm was not mislead at all.
He recognized that God's intervention is needed for mankind to progress, and return back to their original state of perfection, that's a situation you have no appreciation of.

That is, a thing is perfect according to, or in relation to, the purpose or end for which it is appointed by its designer or producer, or the use to which it is to be put by its receiver or user.
The very meaning of perfection requires that there be someone who decides when completion has been reached, what the standards of excellence are, what requirements are to be satisfied, and what details are essential.
Ultimately, God the Creator is the final Arbiter of perfection, the Standard-Setter, in accord with his own righteous purposes and interests Yes?
