Deadly silence. I suppose I could be Christian and assume Stockdam is on holiday......
Anyway the weekend is over so back to work and no more wasting time here.
creation invokes evolution
time = evolution.
its impossible for there not to be evolution after creation.....possibly
any sort of being = evolution
but that can only apply if you believe evolving is an imperfection.
what if evolving is the perfect scenario that makes one perfect.
is it an imperfection from your perspective.
if you evolve then you dont die out .how perfect is that?
we are talking about humans arent we?
not dinosaurs other animals or fish.
everything you need for food, health, minerals to make things is here on earth.it all seems very perfect to me.
what isnt perfect about it?
Humans had competition, Neanderthals and various others. You know why we survived? Simply because an important part of our make up was superior.
You can't suggest it is all perfect by claiming we were created as we are today.
How come they are finding 2 million year old skeletons similar to us but not us? Where have they found 2 million year old skeletons that are exactly us? They haven't.
You can't take the bible seriously when its focus is on someone filling a boat with 2 of each species on earth which would be 16 million on the boat give or take, and leaving the dinosaurs and various other things we find in the ground behind... How in any way does this make sense? Never mind the lack of water to do what they claim.
Look at this find http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/t...sediba-can-we-stop-calling-it-a-missing-link/
Why aren't the things they find in the ground all still alive now if things are "perfect"
one can argue that the view of imperfection is actually what makes it perfect.the image of perfect in the mind sometimes can be one of "perfect" without imperfection.its the false image of perfection that makes one believe its not perfect when in reality that is what perfection is.
i see a mini cooper created in the 60s then i see a mini cooper created in 2010.both perfect both similar but not the same.evolution from creation
i see a mini cooper created in the 60s then i see a mini cooper created in 2010.both perfect both similar but not the same.evolution from creation
yes it can.and the new man can go into space and build rockets. But the new mini can go faster than the old mini could ever dream of giving it an advantage.
Would any god make us in his image yet decide to create a further few that look like us but are not us?
It's like suggesting dinosaurs never existed.
Your summary of perfection is not applicable to this scenario.
yes it can.and the new man can go into space and build rockets.
the next new man may be able to travel to distant galaxies in a way this man cannot.there is no doubt the next new man will be better than this one, just as the new mini is better than the old.
im comparing evolution of something.whether it be living or a machine.its all the same creation process.man is the machines godYou can't compare machines to man when man makes the machines
Just picture though, do you think the people who wrote the book of contradictions and generalisation could ever picture a car or a plane or being in space. Yet people alive today are happy to read a book written by people more close minded than the most close minded person on earth today.
No what I was saying, was, what ever God has decreed for the earth and mankind's future, will take place.
No.
Hmmm said if God did not evolve then nothing would....
and what you said was, and I quote, ''Spot on Hmmm''
So you're agreeing with him that God evolves and changes over time, and that if He didnt, then nothing else would.
*Sigh*
You never said a single word about mankinds future or Gods decrees. Not a single word.
When Hmmm said God evolves, you said, Spot on !!!!!!!!
God evolving - about as unbiblical as it gets, yes?????
Playing with words again Parth.
God is perfect. Perfection can't change. The reason it can't change is because perfection, by definition, can't be improved on.
Nope.
Just stating back specifically what you said, and then contrasting that with what you later tried to imply you meant.
Yes?????
Saying ''Spot on'' to someone, when they have just made a grave error, is just misleading and Im pretty sure the cult you belong to would never want to mislead someone in matters of such......
oh .....
wait .....
God is perfect. Perfection can't change. The reason it can't change is because perfection, by definition, can't be improved on.
He recognized that God's intervention is needed for mankind to progress, and return back to their original state of perfection, that's a situation you have no appreciation of.
Jezzzzus - keep rereading and reinterpreting and next you'll be telling us he was quoting stright out of the book of Job
Nowhere did he say God's intervention was needed, nor that we were in an original state of perfection.
Im so glad you posted all that though.
Just goes to show with your kind of mindset, you can make anything out of anything, you see what you want to see, and then firmly believe thats what was said
Go back and look at what Hmmm actually wrote!
After all, youre the ''literalist''![]()
Ultimately, God the Creator is the final Arbiter of perfection, the Standard-Setter, in accord with his own righteous purposes and interests
In plant-eating vertebrates, the appendix is much larger and its main function is to help digest a largely herbivorous diet. The human appendix is a small pouch attached to the large intestine where it joins the small intestine and does not directly assist digestion. Biologists believe it is a vestigial organ left behind from a plant-eating ancestor. Interestingly, it has been noted by paleontologist Alfred Sherwood Romer in his text The Vertebrate Body (1949) that the major importance of the appendix "would appear to be financial support of the surgical profession", referring to, of course, the large number of appendectomies performed annually. In 2000, in fact, there were nearly 300,000 appendectomies performed in the United States, and 371 deaths from appendicitis. Any secondary function that the appendix might perform certainly is not missed in those who had it removed before it might have ruptured.
Some of the important appendicitis statistics for death and mortality includes
 Deaths from acute appendicitis in the year of 1920 were 13.4 per 100000 people and then it rose to 15.2 in the year of 1929. Another appendicitis statistics reported 390 people died in USA in the year of 1999 for appendix condition where as current data suggest approximately 18000 to 20000 people dying every year from appendicitis only in US.
 Other statistics reveal that in other countries the death rates are; 6.8 in Prussia, 5.2 in Irish free State, 10.0 in Scotland, 7.2 in New Zealand, 9.1 in Mexico City, 3.7 (lowest) in Italy, 7.7 in England and Wales and Canada has almost equal death rates as in the US.
Looking at the increased graph of deaths occurring due to appendicitis, this disease has to be treated as early as possible. Because leaving this untreated, it turns to major complications including fair chances to have appendix perforation or rupture and then peritonitis causing death of the sufferer.
With all of the pain, time, and money that are put into dealing with wisdom teeth, humans have become just a little more than tired of these remnants from their large jawed ancestors. But regardless of how much they are despised, the wisdom teeth remain, and force their way into mouths regardless of the pain inflicted. There are two possible reasons why the wisdom teeth have become vestigial. The first is that the human jaw has become smaller than its ancestors -and the wisdom teeth are trying to grow into a jaw that is much too small. The second reason may have to do with dental hygiene. A few thousand years ago, it might be common for an 18 year old man to have lost several, probably most, of his teeth, and the incoming wisdom teeth would prove useful. Now that humans brush their teeth twice a day, it's possible to keep one's teeth for a lifetime. The drawback is that the wisdom teeth still want to come in, and when they do, they usually need to be extracted to prevent any serious pain.
