Hi,

We rarely respond to ITT's as we don't think they work well for either the issuer or responder in our market (web/inbound).

I wondered what others think about one specific thing, that being the number of companies they are sent to. We recently received one from a notable business organisation who advised it had been sent to 21 agencies.

What do people think about this?

cheers

ITTs are becoming more and more common practice with the size of filesharing increasing and companies do not need to go to the legwork they once did in sending out big files of papers for interested parties to complete. They now smash it out to multiple companies without the capital expenditure.

Now here is the really funny bit....well its not funny at all actually.

A lot of private and public arms alike do not have to accept ANYONEs ITT / Quote / Proposal.

If to the individual it is deemed overly expensive, they can bin it and put it out for re-tender again.

So in reality, not only you might be filling out hours upon hours of paperwork, there might not even be a job at the end of it...

There again on the flip side, there might.
