Been searching the whole forum and I didn't find any CTR method for SEO optimization. So I thought why not ask? I'm in urgent need of SEO service recommendation. I have 2 major keywords of my site that are ranking 8th and 11th respectively and I'm looking to move up the rankings. Has anyone tested SERP CTR? I am thinking if I send some clicks, I should be able to rank my 2 keywords higher. Has anyone ever used any services that is SERP CTR related?

Personally, I wouldn't bother using such services. Much better to just optimise your titles and descriptions for CTR instead.

It does work but you need a lot of clicks and the results are generally only temporary.

Best try and get some good links to give the site a bit of a boost, that's assuming you've got decent content and your on-page is as good as it can be already.

works well for high paying keywords like local seo. Really not worth it for e commerce type terms, you'd need to spend too much time/money on it

Hi! I have been using SERP CTR related service for a while- I’ve been using SerpClix and that has been going reasonably well. Not complaining at all! Have you tried that?

I’ve also tried SerpClix and my experience has been positive. Will be buying more credits there soon.

Combined post count of 3+ posters < 10. Danger-meter and Spidey-senses on high alert!

Quit trying to game the system. Spend your time and money on an SEO course like FreshBananas, and do what Tin shows you needs done to win.

Spend your time and money on quality content, graphics, backlinks, optimisation.

Re-read sentence above, "Quit trying to game the system."

Start delivering value to your readership and you'll be around, near the top, for ages.

Why not just do your SEO properly in the first place - keyword research (correctly with serch metrics, competition research figures) , website audit - make sure you have a well onsite optimised page, get the links that all your competitors have - and then chase after those same links one by one - going for the high value pages first.

Doing that in conjunction with some Social Media monitoring and youve covered the bases (Im presuming you know what to do re the above though)

I use seo powersuite for the keyword /audit / competition stuff and buzzbundle for the social side - other tools are available, but the spy glass data is worth it's weight in gold if you use the suite of tools

Agree with the "don't try to game the system" advice. (Disagree with the notion that posters with lesser number of posts are somewhat less qualified).

As for buying clicks in the SERPs:
  • The more competitive a keyword, the less effective this tactic. Even if you get higher rankings:
  • You need to keep buying clicks to sustain them (decreased CTR = lower rankings).
  • You need to get clicks from your target audience (all searches are personalized and if a bunch of IP addresses in Manila show a higher CTR, who do you think will see your page higher in the SERPs?)
Overall, not worth it unless you are in it for the short term or trying to pull off a gimmick of some kind.
