mpen, for the brave there has never been a better time to start a business, banks are finally lending again, there is an air of "oh well if this is as bad as it is going to get" but be aware it will take at least three years to get back to a bullish economy (please do not budget for growth in 2010/2011) but I honestly think (hope) this as bad as it gets. ?Therefore the ones that grew too fast in 2006/07 will soon be all bust leaving you to build a reputation and solid business IMHO.

The very best of luck

Hurray

after thinking of throwing the towel in a few times I have been offered the full amount that I needed to complete this project. the survey was done on Monday they contacted me this afternoon and valued the property at 5k more than I've paid, they are taking into account the work I'm having done (around 20/25k) and are going to lend me 60% of the final value, so that gives me a decent cushion, six month payment holiday, 12 months free banking, free wages, free sage.

Do you all want me to shut up now or should I put up a site with pictures and progress and you can all give me more great ideas, all your help and advice up to now has been great, thanks:)

I've been following this too -really great to here you've got it all sorted. It's nice to see it all come together. We usually see questions and problems but rarely all the way through to being resolved. Thanks for updating

Ah well, it can't all be good news I suppose. I hope it doesn't cause too much of a hinderance for you!

Well it seems like and age ago, quite a few chewed finger nails, I've spent around 3 times more than I thought I would and upstairs is still a disaster story, I had my banner that was fitted saturday blown down early sunday morning, but we decided to do a slow opening today,

Great day everybody seemed to be impressed with everything, ran out of nearly everything around 3pm, suppose the really hard work starts now

Not got much money left but feeling really chuffed

new and old pictures
