Is Google checkout now UK friendly?

Hi there, I have been kind of begrudgingly using PayPal for solutions at the moment, and have heard rumours that google checkout is now fine to be used for UK e-commerce websites.

Is this true?
and has anybody else used it yet? How easy is it to implement, and how expensive is it in comparison to say PayPal or WorldPay solutions?

Hopefully it will be soon... would be good to have an alternative to Paypal!

I heard google check out is more fine with US e-commerce site instead, however you could have look on worldpay, moneybookers, chronopay, protx etc to have some idea about their price and features.
