Do you work for Nokia?
No, but lets hope those that did don't use the IOS 6 Maps app to find their way home...
expensive, over rated, and as for those sad people in queues waiting to get one - get a life - its a phone - thats all !!
So has anyone spent hours queuing outside an Apple store today?
I think the main thing is the 4G internet on the iPhone 5. I'm not sure if it is currently available, but having ultra-fast (Unlimited) internet on the go has got to be a good thing!
Extreme measures: One user rubbed keys and a SIM card trey across the back of a black iPhone 5 display model in a store to see if it si [sic] susceptible scratches
The Apple Marketing machine has worked it's magic on the brainwashed but to us normal folk we can see it is not a massive leap and as such think it is a let down and not really very innovative (unless you get geeky and take a look at some of the hardware updates).
I think perhaps this is a little out of proportion. The iPhone 5 is a small evolution of the 4S.
When you buy a TV you don't complain in 6 months time if the next model is not a massive improvement.
If you ask me, this iPhone 5 was a minor update, in terms of features and hardware. There is nothing amazing for the customer at all. Look under the hood of the iPhone 5, and what do you see, a huge reduction in components from Samsung - their biggest competitor.
If you ask me, Apple have spent more time designing this thing for the next Court Battle than they have for customers themselves.
Without sounding too opinionated I think Apple run out of design ideas, not to say you will have to pay £25 for an adapter if you want to use it with your old iphone docks.
I totally agree - I've never purchased an apple product in my life and i don't intend to start any day soon! ALL there products are Overhyped and over priced IMHO.Personally I don't get the whole Apple scenario, sure they're pretty and work well but they incite such emotion from the users! It's a frickin phone!

~£400 for a freakin phone - are you people serious!
This is the fault of Apple, right from the start they built up every product launch to a frenzied level and advertised each and every launch as 'the best thing since .....'
The reality is as the years are going on, they are finding it harder and harder to innovate. Apple fans are screaming out for more, it's a snowball that they have no control over any more.
I really think the tides will turn for Apple over the next few years as the magic begins to disappear from it's products. That is unless they can really pull out some great features from the next few apple incarnations.
Received my phone, still unpacked, don`t know what to do now. £529 for **** shite? Thanks...Will keep my 4S probably.
I took my 5 down to my local CEX today and they gave me £565 cash for it. So ill now go buy a cheaper handset 2nd hand (or keep my current HTC) and pocket the profits.
I have heard that Iphone5 have lots of features like it has 4 inch i.e. it's larger than the iPhone 4S and an aluminum and glass body that weighs 112 g and is 7.6 mm thick.iPhone 5's front- and back-facing cameras have each been upgraded they'll be 720p and 1080p respectively.

Nice, an improvement on 1-4S.What do you think?
Unfortunately I have to say 'yes'. Never had an iPhone, could never really justify the expense when you can get 'just as good' for cheaper. I do however always have that nagging feeling that I am missing out. So I am going to do it at least the once to get it out of my system. Will you be getting one?
No more than any other smartphone - internet, email, telephone.Does having the latest iPhone help your business?
I got mine at lunchtime today, it's a very nice phone, much much faster than the iPhone4 it replaced, but that is to be expected. It feels a lot lighter and thinner than I was expecting. I'm looking forward to it being jailbroken so I can use it as I like.
