Interesting Social Media Project

I have a website that I launched for a niche topic 2 months ago. Content automatically updates then automatically is fed into social media accounts. I spend about 30 mins daily adding further social posts etc to build up a following.

Within 2 months, I have built up a TikTok account with 11.6M views on the top video, over 7k followers and the likes are way over 235k currently. We're well on our way to monetising on TikTok.
The best video on FB is currently at 57k views.
Youtube subscribers are currently at 320.
We also have Twitter and Instagram but they are slow burners for the niche topic.

Analytics show very good numbers for a 2 month old site and we're indexing very too now.

All running well and growing daily, with the intention to sell after 6 - 12 months. It grows every day so i'll just keep up the daily posts.
I know its a proven model because i replicated the site and idea for another niche market 8 weeks later and the pattern is proving very similar. Although im seeing different user behaviour on each social media channel for different target audiences. Its very interesting.

Again, i believe this second site will be built and sold.

I have 2/3 other sites i want to create and replicate this idea for.

Obviously this isn't a straight forward business so can't really be pitched yet but i'm looking for a partner to invest a little into these and allow me some extra time to work on the posting/social sides.

Where would someone go or look for a partner of this type on something that is very much a short term social media play?

Thank you!

Congratulations for clearing getting some eyes on screen on TikTok in particular. However, as you are asking for partner, and you are looking to sell, have you modelled the business plan and the business case?

What would be in it for a business partner (I presume investor as you don't clarify this), and what financial returns would they make?
Also, with regards to selling have you identified potential acquirers and why they would be interested in acquiring, including case studies in a business plan? An investor would want to see this information.

Thanks for reply. To be honest, its quite new to me - i just had an idea and ran with it. Built the site, setup the accounts and religiously do the same work each day and it just keeps growing. I haven't thought about the figures, etc but know after doing my research that it will hold value if it keeps growing as it is.

Yes i guess you're right and it would be an investor I'm looking for - someone who can see the potential and appreciates the growth its making each day.

Also, i'm purposely choosing subjects that have some very relevant companies that i can pitch the sales to in theh future should they want some more eyeballs.

How will an investor see any return?

Do you know how much money you need?

Well done on the results - how much money has this made?

If none, what are the revenue streams?

On site advertising is a potential, alongside the TikTik Creative Fund, and I'm also very close to monetising on Youtube. So i feel each has the potential to earn an income each month anyway.

And there is the potential for the sales of the sites and accounts as a business - which is my goal for each.

The time to replicate, build and setup each site and the time running the sites on a daily basis - i feel would be worth about £1k each site for anyone that wanted to join me.

I fully understand its a kind of punt but its fascinating seeing it grow and its also an educated punt when i can clearly see the gains of the effort on a daily basis.

The best advice I can give you right now is focus some energy on being financially focused, how is this going to make money because this is all an investor will be interested in. You need to have a business that will make them money, harsh as it may sound they won't care how many followers/views/etc a social media account has if it doesn't make them back more money than they put in.

It strikes me that if there is any way you can access money yourself, it would be well invested in professional advice on how this can be monetised.

Sweat equity is a possibility, though it tends to attract a few dreamers and scammers.

    What you don't need is:

    Cash with no clear plan
An ever-growing number of no-revenue sites.

    No income = no business

Thanks Ozzy. I agree and do have some good plans to monetise when the stats have reached the right milestones. For example, I'm close to being eligible for payments from TikTok and Youtube - then at that stage i will look for some relevant advertising on the site and on the videos. Then for each niche - they were picked because i have some great upsell ideas for each. I'll keep on pushing to reach these targets then see how it goes!

If you can monetise the sites, you have potential cash cows - why would you sell those?

What would the investor get for £1k, what would you do with the £1k and how would the investor get a return on the £1k

I think a 50/50 share each of the venture would be fair personally. They put up the £1k and i would build and setup the site, social accounts and branding (probably about 60 hours) then i would spend 30 mins every day growing the site and socials by posting the content i post.

I can only go by the previous experiences over the past 2 months but I can see us splitting any money made from TikTok, Youtube, advertising - all 50/50 then if there's ever a sale - obviously any money made from that would be split 50/50.

That's not how it works. An investor giving you £1000 will want to know how you will repay the investment. You need to demonstrate how you are making enough money each month to give a decent return.

I'm not actually sure why you even need investment.

I give you £1000 and you'll work for 30 minutes per day for me, forever or until the site is sold?
What will you do with the £1k or is it just spending money.

What niche are the sites in? Have you successfully made more than one?
Yeah thats the idea. Its half mine so in my interest to grow it. I don't need the £1k but value my time so would just use it for hosting costs for the year etc. I'm a developer so just makes life bit easier working on this without the usual side gigs for a while. I'll def share the details if you message provately - no problem at all. Thanks Nick.

    Host what?

Surely as a developer you already have hosting. You just need to add a subdomain and a bit of redirection.

And £1000/year for hosting! That’s bonkers money. You can get hosting for a fraction of that.

My first question would be, OK where do I find it? How can I view the content and website?

TBH this looks increasingly like an investment scenario where both parties would end up being resentful - you because you gave up half of your business for a measly sum, them because you do f**k all work.

Ask some good questions on the appropriate sections here, you may well get some insights to how to monetise it.
