Accompanied with that stupid Android voice that we now have to suffer at the self-service check-outs.

Informing us about the benefits of buying the alternative product that is twice as expensive,
on the shelf above, with an animated flashing arrow pointing to it.

In your example they sound horrific. But on the whole I quite like it. It would be a good novelty to create a bit of 'look and feel'.
