I have joined PROOF. Have you?

Whilst filing a confirmation statement on Companies House I was offered the option of joining PROOF (PROtected Online Filing).

The service "is a free service offering additional protection for your company from the threat of fraudsters and corporate identity theft."


Essentially it prevents bogus paper filings, which I recall others have experienced and posted about it here on UKBF.


This is what the screenshot of the offer page looks like.


You tick the box, press the button and you're done.


Looks alright?

Thanks for the heads up - UKBF no longer allows inline images in posts other than in the Feedback section.

Any ideas as to how else can I share it?

As @DontAsk pointed out, it turns out this is an old service - from over 10 years ago!
