How to make £100 in 24 hours? Ideas, tips...

Hello,

it started like a challenge. I have tried to earn £100 i 24 hours online. It seems that internet is full of "guaranteed"tips how to make money. But for me nothing works. I succeeded in writing about us pages for small businesses but not huge profit at all.

Is there a marketplace where to find "microjobs" for real entrepreneurs? I have tried Friday ad
- it seems there is no interest from small businesses to help them with website, Freelancer
- the competition are quite tough and it is hard to win, Gumtree
- big market, no response. Have ever tried it something like a challenge - how to make £100 in 24 hours?

Raffle tickets!

Online?!!!

Two things come to mind....

1. It's a big ask from a standing start with nothing but a keyboard & your own nous to create £100 of wealth in 24 hours (assuming the only thing in play is you....nothing 'physical' to sell which would necessitate you buying it first)...clearly you've insufficient nous yourself, cos you're now asking others!

2. If anyone does have sufficient nous ...do you really think they'd be sharing it?!!

(actually I found a new avenue for earning some ok-ish sideline money yesterday...it's quite time intensive, & involves being online a lot ...but I ain't saying what it is, else everyone would likely be doing it & the opportunity would be lost!)

I'm always astonished at some of the posts on here. There was one the other day, where someone has recently started a blog & he expects to rake in £150k in advertising in his first year (even he couldn't believe it), but even those types of 'I've fallen on my feet' take a bit of time to snowball.

I used to buy domain names, build sites and try and get some links/traffic to the site.
It would take a day or 2s work but then you would have to wait a month or 2 to evidence some traffic. They used to sell for around £100, more if I could sell advertising on the site... admittedly that was about 14-15 years ago when I was around 15-16.

I also remember taking on a job making a website charging £300 but then I outsourced it all for £100. £200 for literally speaking to the client, speaking to a designer/programmer and then being the middle man. That took about a week as it wasnt a huge site but I definitely did not spend 24 hours on it - maybe 8-9 in total.

Everyone seems to want instant success overnight, the world doesn't work that way, it's takes time, effort and dedication. There's good reason there's so many get rich quick schemes around, people are lazy.

Making £100 one time in 24 hours is easy, doing it day after day and more isn't, and that's where lazy people or those with a limited idea fail.

The truth is if anyone has got a plan how to do this they won't share it, thats life to be honest with you. I'd say go and learn some affiliate marketing, check clickbank dot com you can also try click bank university they will show you all first step you need to do then just put some effort, test with all traffic building strategies, etc. The point not to make 100 quid a day but to make 5 quid every day. Start from basics of online marketing and who knows maybe one day you will be able to make that 100 quid. Or go to elance and sell your skills

Erhmm....no it's not.

Err yes it is, dead easy. As one example I could do a car boot sale and quite easily "earn" a £100. However, I couldn't do that day after day, even I only have a finite amount of junk.

For a start folk need to read the question and define the word "earn" what is it, turnover, net profit, gross profit. The question is flawed to start with.

Starting a business with a long term future doesn't always mean it will make a decent profit or pay it's way from day one. Too many people want instant success with minimal or no effort, and there's plenty of people out there will to take money off mugs trying to do exactly that.

In such a situation (IMHO) you didn't earn it, you simply monetized things you already owned (i.e. stuff bought with money earned previously).

Like I say to create new wealth by earning £100 on the first with nothing but nous, a PC & the internet at your disposal is very hard.

The OP mentions nothing about not using what you already have. However, it won't happen overnight on a PC. A more practical approach as someone's already mentioned is to go out there and offer your services, window cleaning, gardening, DIY, etc.

Are you actually going to go DO this?

As theory is one thing doing is often different (You might suck at knocking doors to wash windows) or you might be great.

I can think of many many ways to make 100 quid with 5 quid to start, most i would not actually do (I am not washing windows)

What the hell stupid question is this?

You want to make £100 from nothing?

You want to sell things you already own?

You want to monetise sites which already have traffic?

What do you have aside from nothing, your labour?

If you mean can you earn £100 having invested a grand then yes, of course. But from scratch just sitting at your screen, I'd be less hopeful.

Right, admittedly you'd be hard pushed to execute this method in 24 hours, but once the set-up is done you can earn way more than £100 in 24 hours doing this. You should believe me as I have made money this way for over 8 years now:

Pre-step: Get yourself Data Protection Registered (£35/year).

Step 1: Sign up to some affiliate networks. Get yourself a list of lead-based merchants (who pays per valid lead, something like life insurance - PM me if you need more to go on than this) and start contacting them directly to see if they want to do a lead trial. You want a merchant who is prepared to pay over £20-£30 per valid lead otherwise you won't make it work. Get a short trial agreement drafted and signed.

Step 2: Get yourself a domain name in said niche. Something with the product in the title as it helps with PPC (I'll get onto this).

Step 3: Create a basic website on that domain with an application form (short as possible) that captures the minimum fields required by the merchant you have a lead trial agreement with. If you need help with the technical side of this hire a freelancer. You want any 'leads' emailed to yourself and the trial merchant.

Step 4: Open an Adwords account. Go through the campaign settings to make sure that you're not targeting things like mobile devices (unless you're mobile-optimised), locations outside of your merchant's criteria etc.

Step 5: Start sending traffic from Adwords to your site, which will then generate leads for your trial merchant. Keep in constant communication with the merchant to ensure that the lead quality is good enough to make it viable for them longer-term.

As long as you're coming in under their payout per valid lead for your Adwords advertising, you're in profit. Rinse and repeat.

I have released a course on Udemy on how to do this, going into far more detail. Search that site for 'How to make money using Google Adwords'.

Happy to answer any questions on this - the method is the fastest way I've found to make money online, also a huge bonus is the 'set and forget' aspect - it's as close to passive income as you're ever going to get.
