How do know it's going meet people's expectations, that they understand how it works, that they trust the site and are willing to put up the cash?Again, as for the site. By most peoples standards it is finished, just not mine. I want to make sure that it is not lacking in any way before it goes online and that I've taken the time to add anything else I can to it to "raise the bar" so to speak.
At some point you are going to have to do some testing. You know every nuance of the site but it may be that the shade of blue you have used for some feature or the prose is awkward or the call to action slightly in the wrong place. No site ever survives first contact with the eneemy so be prepared to lose your teddy and create a site that you may hate but your visitors love.
Once you can demonstrate that it attracts interest and converts well then you can start making overtures to camelot or any of the other worldwide lotteries.
